STAGE FLASH
| Date: | 02/6/12 |
| Day: | 2 |
| Special Stage: | SS4 Edrom 1 (11.64 miles) |
1. Mark Donnelly / Dai Roberts - Renault Clio R3
Made setup changes. Good but can still be better. I'm hitting the limiter in there.
2. Keith Cronin / Marshall Clarke - Citroen DS3 R3T
A bit better than the first stage. It's still getting away with me over jumps. We'll see what we can do in service.
3. Jarkko Nikara / Petri Nikara - Citroen DS3 R3T
Overshot and stalled on junction. Got away with me braking over jump.
4. Elfyn Evans / Dale Furniss - Ford Fiesta R2
Going ok, still not brilliant [missing wing mirror]
5. Osian Pryce / Iestyn Williams - Citroen DS3 R3T
That was s***. No confidence in braking.
6. Jonathan Greer / Gordon Noble - Citroen DS3 R3T
That was ok. The gravel section was rough.
7. Peter Taylor / Andrew Roughead - Renault Clio R3T
The bonnet came up on anything more than 4th gear. Better than the first stage.
8. Tom Cave / Craig Parry - Citroen DS3
Tricky, lots of gravel in places. Hard to know when to push
9. Jussi Kumpumaki / Jani Salo - Ford Fiesta R2
Wrong tyres on rear. They are inters and have overheated. Not fun.
10. Jukka Korhonen / Mikael Korhonen - Skoda Fabia R2
A few hard brakings and slippy in places. Made car harder after the first stage which seemed to make things better.
12. Callum Black / Paul Wakely - Citroen DS3 R3T
Good fun, something not quite right at the rear though.
14. Matthew Cathcart / James Morgan - Ford Fiesta R2
A bit of a moment in there, slid wide onto some gravel but it's a good crack.
17. Gethin Jones / Kevin Devine - Ford Fiesta ST
Cold tyres means rear wheel drive type action!
18. Ruary MacLeod / Drew Sturrock - Ford Fiesta R2
Notes are not too brilliant. I've not got the hang of the changes in road width.
