62. Ross Hunter / Josh Davison - Peugeot 205
We've had a fairly steady loop this morning but today is all about getting to know the car again on gravel after spending the last three years doing tarmac rallies. The stages are beginning to rut, so we'll see what happens this afternoon when the main BRC boys have gone through.
51. Richard Sykes / Simon Taylor - Citroen C2R2 Max
OK morning, I'm feeling a bit rusty but generally satisfied. We encountered a miss-fired on SS2 and the engine would not rev abouve 7000 rpm. It was one of those hard things to identify and cost us time, probably about 19 seconds. We'll give it a go this afternoon and see what we can get.
60. Aaron McClure / Tom Woodburn - Ford Fiesta ST
We've had a good morning, it's my first time in Keilder. It's impressive just how fast it is. We developed brake problems on SS2 and that has taken away a bit of confidence and speed. I'm not taking as much speed through the corners to ensure I stay on the road. It's a long season though and I'm pleased to be the leading car in class so I hope to retain the lead and come home intact.
57. Anthony Simpson / Jonathan Jackson - Ford Fiesta ST
We are busy finding our rythum, we had an intermittant electrical fault which cost us about 7 seconds. We'll see what we can do about it in service and look to make up the gap to Arron.
54. Steven Smith / Daniel Johnstone - Peugeot 206 RC
We had a bad start, we had an off on the first chicane on the first stage and lost 3.5 minutes. We'll have to see what we can do this afternoon.
61. Meirion Evans / Paul Wakely - Ford Fiesta ST
We got onto a soft verge on SS1 and got stuck. The car dug into the earth about halfway up the wheel and we lost six minutes. Lots to do!
65. Dean Raftery / Aileen Kelly - Honda Civic
Yeah, we've been quick and the car's been good but we've got a whole afternoon to go, so we'll see how it goes.
63. Michael Threlfall / Rob Harrison - Renault Clio 172
I'm enjoying the event but the car has been unstable in the high speed stuff and there is a lot of high speed stuff out there! It's a brand new car so we'll just keep on pushing through and see if we can calm it down in service.
58. Matt Griffin / Chris Spilsted - Renault Clio
We had a mechanical problem which had us parked up in the stage and we ended up being caught by one of the BRC guys where we lost a good chunk of time, which is a shame. I've got a good car though with plenty of power. It's just a case of learning that car and how to chanel the power.
