Some of the stage is tarmac, some is gravel. Sometimes I was too wide, sometimes in a corner. It's very difficult, the driving conditions are changing all the time.

This is a horrible stage. Down the hill is not so nice, really bumpy. A corner up the hill tightened up on me which maybe lost a second. This stage will clean a lot so an advantage to later drivers, but then it will get rougher and balance out.

C'est une spéciale épouvantable. La fin de la descente était très bosselée. J'ai perdu environ une seconde dans un virage en haut de côte. Cela sera plus facile pour les suivants une fois la spéciale nettoyée mais elle risque de se dégrader par la suite de nouveau.

Kauhea pätkä. Alamäkeen ei ole oikein kivaa, tosi pomppuista. Mutkassa ylämäkeen menetin ehkä sekunnin. Pätkä puhdistuu paljon ja se auttaa myöhemmin tulevia. Sitten tilanne tasoittuu, kun pinta kuluu.

It's not bad at all. You go down a ski resort, quite interesting. Maybe not the fastest time but for me it was good. We hit something in qualifying which damaged a caliper, but it's all ok now.

Today is a short day so we're going to take it easy and get through and push tomorrow. The car is good to drive which makes it easier. It is 12 months since we did a gravel rally in this car but when you get behind the wheel it's like home.
