Finally a clear Ouninpohja for me. A really nice feeling. I'm happy with the driving. It's wide and fast and some really slippery sections. Juho will have a laugh when he sees some of our lines!

Vihdoinkin Ouninpohja ehjänä läpi. Tosi hieno tunne. Olen tyytyväinen ajoon. Ehkä isolla tiellä tuli pari pumppausta. Leveää, nopeaa tietä ja muutama tosi liukas paikka. Juho varmaan nauraa, kun näkee meidän linjoja.

It is still quite slippy but a nice stage. It is really impressive, nice, very nice. I didn't jump that much.

Everything was ok but it was a very difficult stage. Every year it is difficult but it was very slippery in some places. My notes were a bit wrong over a jump, I took it differently to last year but I had a big moment on the right hand corner.

Tout va bien mais c'est une spéciale très difficile. Tous les ans c'est pareil mais il y avait des parties vraiment glissantes. Mes notes étaient un peu erronées sur un jump. Je l'ai pris differemment que l'an psssé et je me suis fait une frayeur dans le virage à droite.

Kaikki oli OK, mutta oli se vaikea. Joka vuosi se on vaikea, mutta nyt oli tosi liukasta muutamassa paikassa. Nuotti yhteen hyppyyn oli vähän väärä. Otin sen eri tavalla kuin viime vuonna, mutta oikean mutkassa tuli vähän tilannetta.

The car wasn't perfect on that type of road but we enjoyed it. Some big jumps and some we were too cautious.

It is not easy, we lost a little bit as we made a mistake on a hairpin and had to reverse out. I don't have the confidence to push, it's the same all the time.

To drive it in the VW is absolutely amazing - places I had to change down to fourth gear before, I can keep in 6th. Next year I hope we can have maximum attack.

It's unbelieveable. Very enjoyable, we didn't really have any problems. I couldn't get it in 6th gear once but otherwise I'm very happy. I don't want to take any risks as the gap is very big.

Uskomatonta!. Makea pätkä, hyvä fiilis, ei ongelmia. Kerran en saanut kuutosvaihdetta päälle, mutta muuten hyvin. Vähän erilaista kuin N-ryhmäläisellä! En ota riskejä, kun ero on niin suuri.

10. Kris Meeke (GBR) / Chris Patterson (GBR) - Citroën DS3 WRC
Give me a Citroen - that's my first time in there in seven years, my first time in a World rally car. That was the best 15:42.5 in my life (except for my wedding!). You are sitting in the front seat of a roller coaster with a throttle to control the speed. If you get it wrong it's big. I always drempt of Finland in a World rally car. To come here in a Citroen is amazing. The team lets me push when I want and back off when I need to. [They had stopped on the road section before this stage to change a wheel as a precaution as it was causing a vibration after hitting a rock]

Donnez moi une Citroën - c'est ma première expérience ici en sept ans, ma première fois dans une World Rally Car. Cela a été les meilleures 15:42:5 de ma vie (excepté mon mariage!). Vous êtes assis aux premières loges d'une montagne russe avec le plein contrôle de l'accélerateur. Si vou svous trompez c'est énorme. Cela a toujours été mon plus grand rêve de courir la Finlande au volant d'une WRC. Venir ici avec Citroën est incrpyable. Le tema me laisse attaquer au lever le peid quand je le sens.

Antakaa minulle Citroen - ensimmäistä kertaa täällä seitsemään vuoteen, ensimmäistä kertaa WRC-autossa. Parhaat 15:42,5 elämässäni (häitäni lukuunottamatta!). On kuin istuisi vuoristoradan kärkivaunussa ja pitäisi käsissään vauhtikeppiä. Jos tekee virheen, se on iso sellainen. Haaveilin aina Suomesta WRC-autossa. On upeaa olla täällä Citroenin tallissa; tiimi antaa minun hyökätä silloin, kun siltä tuntuu ja myös löysätä tarvittaessa. (Olivat pysähtyneet tieosuudella ennen tätä pätkää vaihtamaan renkaan kaiken varalta, sillä olivat osuneet kiveen ja rengas täristi)

I'm not pushing hard enough I think. this stage if you push too hard you lose time. I think you should hold back a little bit but perhaps I did too much. I should have been faster.

En hyökkää tarpeeksi, luulisin. Jos tällä pätkällä hyökkää liikaa, menettää aikaa. Luulin, että pidättelin vain vähän, mutta se olikin ehkä liikaa. Olisi pitänyt olla nopeampi.

11. Thierry Neuville (BEL) / Nicolas Gilsoul (BEL) - Ford Fiesta RS WRC
I ran a little bit too wide, I didn't feel it but I must have hit the barrier. Mikko was 0.1 seconds faster. there are many places I could go faster, but when you are not sure you have to take it carefully. I tried to save the tyres toward the end but perhaps a little bit too much.

11. Thierry Neuville (BEL) / Nicolas Gilsoul (BEL) - Ford Fiesta RS WRC
Je suis parti un peu large et j'au peut-être heurté une barrière même si je n'ai rien senti. Mikko est 0.1" plus rapide. Il y a plein d'endroits où je pourrais être plus rapide mais lorsque l'on est pas certain il faut rester prudent. J'ai essayé de préserver les pneus vers la fin de la spéciale, peut-être un peu trop.

Meni vähän leveäksi. Mitään ei tuntunut, mutta osui ehkä esteeseen. Mikko oli 0.1 s nopeampi. Monissa paikoissa voisin mennä kovempaa, mutta kun et ole varma, pitää ottaa varovasti. Yritin säästellä renkaita loppua kohti ehkä vähän liikaakin.

I dreamt about doing this stage in a World rally car and that was amazing, very nice. That was ok and we can go a bit faster this afternoon.
